On March 21, 1991, Ahmed Sofa wrote this personal letter to Peter Dietzel. In it, he mainly refers to topics they had discussed in February of the same year during his visit to Stumpertenrod, Hesse: a publication about the painter S. M. Sultan and the film Adam Surat by Tareq Masud on his life, the violence at universities in Bangladesh, and an initiative for dialogue by Sofa and his friends, as well as the publication of poems and a novel by the Bangladeshi writer in German.
